Aire Serv is Hiring a Lead HVAC Installer / Sheet Metal Fabricator!

Location: Central Illinois
Schedule: Full-Time, Year-Round
Pay Rate: $25.00-$35.00/hour (Based on Experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Overview

Aire Serv of Central Illinois is looking for an experienced Lead HVAC Installer / Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a skilled installer who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, fabricating custom ductwork, and completing residential HVAC installations the right way.

Responsibilities
  • Install residential heating and cooling systems
  • Fabricate custom ductwork, transitions, plenums, offsets, and field modifications
  • Perform HVAC equipment changeouts and complete system installations
  • Read and interpret installation layouts, blueprints, and job plans
  • Ensure all work meets company standards and applicable code requirements
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
  • Communicate professionally with customers and team members
  • Complete installation documentation and required paperwork
  • Assist with training and mentoring less experienced installers

Requirements

  • Previous HVAC installation experience
  • Sheet metal fabrication experience
  • Ability to fabricate transitions, plenums, offsets, and custom ductwork
  • Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials safely
Nice to Have
  • EPA Certification
  • Union HVAC experience
  • Experience leading installation crews
  • Experience with residential retrofit and replacement installations
