Job description

Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Temporary Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will support period-end close activities, and maintain accurate financial data. This contract position is ideal for a proactive professional who can adapt quickly to our systems and keep operations running smoothly during a transitional period.

Key Responsibilities General Ledger: Create and post journal entries and maintain supporting schedules. Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and general ledger accounts. Month-End Close: Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes and variance research.

Office & Administrative Duties Office Coordination: Manage incoming mail, answer phones, and greet visitors professionally. Team Assistance: Schedule meetings, coordinate courier pickups, and assist with special projects. Qualifications & Skills Experience: 2+ years of experience combining bookkeeping/accounting with office administration.

Software: Proficient in Microsoft Excel Organization: Superior time-management skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks. Communication: Clear, friendly verbal and written communication skills for vendor and team interaction. Reliability: High level of discretion and trustworthiness when handling confidential company records.

This is a temporary non-merit position. Candidates must follow the instructions in the "To Apply" section.
