Job Description

As a Network Engineer, you will be designing, deploying, maintaining and supporting our enterprise network infrastructure.

Our network is crucial to support the continued growth of the platform. In this role, you will be responsible for completing day-to-day operational functions, troubleshooting network issues, and implementing solutions to meet the demands of our fast-paced environment.

In addition, you will proactively maintain and monitor network infrastructure, ensuring its operational efficiency, reliability, and compliance. This will involve performing regular upgrades and implementing enhancements to maintain optimal performance, high availability and seamless connectivity across the US and South America.

The listed salary for this position is $80,000-$100,000 annually.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network devices at a low level, including switches, routers, firewalls and access points.
  • Knowledge of network protocols such as Ethernet, TCP and IP, VLANs, and routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
  • Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools to diagnose and resolve network issues.
  • Understanding of network security principles, including access control lists, firewall policies and VPN configurations.
  • Experience in working with low-level network protocols and technologies, such as DHCP, DNS, NAT and IP addressing.
  • Ability to perform basic network device configurations, including firmware upgrades, port configurations and VLAN assignments.
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to quickly identify and resolve network issues.
  • Excellent documentation skills to maintain accurate records of network configurations, diagrams and troubleshooting steps.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, provide technical support to end users, and explain technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
