Full Stack Engineer ( UI Engineer - Angular )

Location: Westlake, TX

Duration: 12+ months

Interview: 2 rounds

Strong Angular 12+, TypeScript, RxJS/NgRx, Node.js/NestJS, Playwright/Cypress/Jest, CI/CD, Git, REST APIs, and frontend architecture experience with ability to clear live coding assessments.

Years of experience: 4+ is the minimum but targeting 7+

Profile: This is almost purely front end engineering (Angular TS) there is however and experience API - so those with Angualr TS and NodejS w/ express/nest/next framework for server side is helpful (but this is a pure JS / TS stack).

Absolute needs:

  • Strong Angular TS - please dont send those with React only or React heavy / solely in recent years
  • NodeJS and Node Package Manager
  • Testing experience - need to be able to conduct own unit testing - Playwright - other testing such as e2e is helpful for edge cases

Helpful but not required: 1. Mobile 2. AWS 3 . Server Side JS / TS experience (API)

Interviews: 2 rounds - 30 minute first round 1 hour 2nd round IDE and screen share - need to be able to compile code - 45 minute for coding assessment ***Please only send those local to areas (WLK and MMK)***

We are a comprehensive software engineering practice, owning the build of core product and platform capabilities, the championing of new technologies and promoting collaboration and open communication to facilitate better decision-making at all levels.

The Purpose of Your Role

As a software engineer, you will help us build the omni channel user experiences and the underlying platforms needed to support our digital presence. You'll work on building entire features, taking these from concept to deployment, as part of our autonomous, multi-functional teams. You'll have the opportunity to supply ideas to improve our products as well as develop your skills, learn new technologies and languages. We're looking for highly motivated individuals who work well in iterative, and fast-paced environment.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Minimum 4+ years of professional experience developing web apps using Angular 12+, RxJS, Redux/NgRx and TypeScript in an agile environment
  • Knowledge of web landscape, architectures (micro-frontend, BFF, Module Federation), trends and emerging technologies used in creating performant and resilient websites
  • Expertise with test automation tools and frameworks e.g. Cypress, Playwright, Jest and Storybook
  • Your sophisticated Git skills, branching strategies and CI/CD practices
  • Familiarity with developing features for our web experiences using Angular and Microservices in NodeJS/NestJS/GraphQL
  • Critical problem-solving skills and passion for writing clean, testable, readable, and easily maintainable code with a test-first development approach
  • Experience with Nx workspaces, ability to use Nx for managing monorepos and improving developer efficiency
  • Experience in internet security: OAuth, Open ID connect and knowledge of standard methodologies
  • Solid understanding of AWS ecosystem (EC2, Lambda, Serverless computing, DynamoDB)
  • Understanding containerization, Docker, and orchestration will be a plus
  • End-to-end architecture experience with focus on customer experience, ease of use, reusable core & common component development
