Job description

Job Title: Outpatient RN
Location: This is at White Earth Clinic but may have shifts at Red Lake clinics.
Start Date: June 2025
Duration: 6 months
Shift Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM but may rotate to have some shifts that are 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
The assignment would be at the White Earth Clinic but may have shifts at Red Lake clinics.
Qualification:
Education: A graduate or higher-level degree, bachelor's degree, associate degree
Certifications: Any state RN license is acceptable
Certifications: BLS Mandatory, ACLS Preferred
Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience Outpatient experience required. Experience with Ambulatory, or Emergency Care setting would be preffered
Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive outpatient nursing care, including preventive screenings, vaccinations, and chronic disease management.
  • Triage walk-in patients, assess conditions, and escalate care as needed.
  • Assist in minor procedures, medication administration, and IV therapy.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, medication adherence, and follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers (NPs, PAs), and allied health staff.
  • Ensure compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, and IHS healthcare standards.
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EHR) using Oracle/Cerner
