Utilization Review Rn

The Utilization Review RN is accountable for a designated caseload and plans effectively to manage the length of stay, promote efficient utilization of resources and facilitate payer authorization. The UR RN/Case Manager: Facilitates collaborative management of patient care, intervenes as necessary to remove barriers to efficient care delivery, Applies process improvement methodologies in evaluating the outcomes of care coordination, and Supports and coaches clinical documentation by staff and providers ensuring documentation reflects the severity of illness and intensity of service. Case Management certification- Preferred Prior travel experience - Preferred BSN - Preferred Profile Requirements: Work History Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year 2 Supervisory Written References (from within the past two years of employment) License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile - Facility will not pend license/certs CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS BLS (AHA) STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS New Hampshire Compact Allowed ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS NH license or Compact must be in hand upon time of submission ABOUT THE FACILITY MCH is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital offering Medical, Surgical and Intensive Care; Obstetrics; Pediatrics; and Mental Health services. A wide variety of outpatient services are available, including Pulmonary, Cardiac and Physical Rehabilitation; 24-hour Emergency Care; a fully equipped laboratory; and an extensive Radiology department.
