Job Title: Heavy Equipment MechanicJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain large mining machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, graders, cranes, and loaders. This role involves troubleshooting mechanical and hydraulic issues, replacing worn parts, performing routine maintenance checks, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment. The position often requires reading blueprints, using specialized tools, and traveling to job sites to service equipment in the field.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and diagnose issues with large mining machinery.
- Repair and maintain equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, graders, cranes, and loaders.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic problems.
- Replace worn parts and perform routine maintenance checks.
- Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Use specialized tools for equipment service.
- Travel to job sites to provide field service.
Essential Skills- Experience working with large pieces of mining equipment.
- Mechanical experience.
- Experience with hydraulics, including minor repairs with fluid, hoses, and pumps.
- Experience with diesel engines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- 3+ years of experience in the mining equipment field preferred.
- Military mechanic experience.
- Trade school certifications.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
