Job description

In Diagnostic Radiology at Main Campus Children's of Alabama
Work schedule will be Full-time on the Day Shift, 4 -10 hour shifts or 5-8 hours shifts.
Summary:
A Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist is responsible for providing technical support to the Pediatric Imaging Diagnostic Division through the performance of radiological examinations and appropriate patient care.
Other information:
Must be proficient with all Radiological Equipment - fixed and mobile.
Must know how to operate CR and DR equipment
Must know how to use Immobilization devises.
Must know how to use and process cassettes.
Must be able to correctly use right and left lead Mitchell markers
Must be proficient in using patient related clerical and historical material.
Education:
  • Associates Degree in Radiology Technology OR * Certificate from approved Radiology Technology Program

Licensure:
  • Registered Radiology Technologist OR * ARRT Registered within one year of hire date
