This role will require a blend of strategic planning and strategic analysis as well as an understanding of the industry ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will "own" their work, hit the ground running, be able to define and prove specific data outcomes, and use insights to drive engagement/reach with organic channels.

Works directly under and reports to the Marketing Director.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a Bachelor's Degree, in Rhetoric and Composition or a related discipline.
  • Candidates should have 3+ years of digital content writing with a proven record of accomplishment (ROI, strategy/execution, and a demonstration of career growth with expanded duties and responsibilities over time).
  • Over 2 years' experience working with HubSpot CRM is required.
  • Grasp of the English language, including idioms and solid knowledge of current trends in slang and expressions.
  • Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with clients, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously.
  • Strict adherence to the style guides of each brand within the company and their policies for publication.
  • Quality time management skills, including prioritization, scheduling, and adapting as necessary.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Some experience with CRM and PM software.
  • Proficiency with computers, especially writing programs, such as Google Docs and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Follow an editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of the content production team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Develop related content for multiple platforms, such as websites, email marketing, product descriptions, videos, and blogs.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of key performance indicators (KPIs) to offer suggestions for improvement.
  • Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of a website in search results.
  • Gain familiarity with each client's requirements and the company's brand image, products, and services.
