SAP MDM Developer

Irvine, #ca (3 Days onsite and 2 days remote)

Long Term Contract

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and maintain financial master data in SAP ECC 6.0 and future cloud environments, including managing general ledger accounts, cost centres, internal orders, and custom tables.

• Provide "Lights On" support for SAP systems, ensuring smooth operation during financial close, data loads into SAP BW, and data quality reviews.

• Collaborate with digital finance data stewards and IT teams to validate MDM requests, resolve system-related issues, and log issues using tools like Service Now and/or JIRA.

• Assist in custom table maintenance, hierarchy modifications, and manage manual uploads via custom ABAP programs.

• Support new investment offerings setup in SAP and ensure accurate data representation in the financial systems.

• Contribute to the maintenance of documentation and job aids related to SAP and MDM processes.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise environments

• Prior experience working in Investment Management/Financial Services required.

• Strong experience in #SAPmasterdatamanagement and SAP system support, with proficiency in SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP BW.

• Knowledge of ABAP programming and experience with financial data structures within SAP.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with data stewards, IT solution engineers, and other stakeholders.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Familiarity with data quality standards and data privacy requirements.

• Experience in any of SAP BW 7.5, Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, Agile Data Mart, SAP Analysis for Office (A4O) is a huge plus
