Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of our manufacturing plant in Burlington, KY. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production of high-quality products while adhering to safety regulations, quality standards, and production schedules. This leadership role requires a hands-on approach to managing operations, optimizing efficiency, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing plant to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Ensure production of high-quality products that meet company and industry standards.
  • Adhere strictly to safety regulations, quality standards, and production schedules.
  • Lead and motivate a team of workers to meet daily production targets and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Maintain consistent involvement with Human Resources to minimize poor personnel choices and support workforce development.
  • Manage inventory levels effectively and implement strategies to eliminate waste.
  • Enforce all OSHA, EEO, Affirmative Action, and other applicable government and local regulations.
  • Ensure all materials are ordered using all available specifications for the SWA purchasing requisitions.
  • Generate all pertinent reports to monitor periodic progress using the SWA operating systems.
  • Serve as the primary leadership representative for the manufacturing facility, including attending meetings, seminars, and community functions.
Qualifications amp; Skills
  • Proven experience in plant management or a similar manufacturing leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work closely with Human Resources to support personnel decisions.
  • Experience with inventory management and waste reduction techniques.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, EEO, Affirmative Action, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in using SWA operating systems for purchasing requisitions and reporting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to represent the facility in various forums.
