Job description

Position Summary:

To maintain all plant equipment and ensuring Production up time is maintained at 100%. Support the key operating principles of safety, quality, operational excellence, lean journey and continuous improvement while meeting or exceeding internal customer expectations.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Comply with all company safety policies. Look for and recognize safety concerns and push to resolution.
  • Maintain a high level of quality of the work being performed.
  • Maintain the required work schedule while coordinating with production and manufacturing engineering
  • for production equipment and area availability.
  • Interface and communication with other departments or affected areas to ensure that production impact is
  • minimized at all times.
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision.
  • Ensure all work orders are closed when completed and submitted to Team Lead.
  • Assist Maintenance Supervisor and Team Lead as requested.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Repair and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related systems
  • Carry out basic repairs such as carpentry, painting, flooring, lighting, and small-scale installations.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, and all types of motors and pumps.
  • Ability to safely leave one project to support higher priority Production stoppages.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools and specialized machinery such as forklifts, aerial lifts, floor
  • scrubbers and sweepers.
  • Ability to work from various heights
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Education (Required Education Only)

Industrial Maintenance preferred Experience/Knowledge (Required Experience/Knowledge Only) PLC and Laser Fab experience preferred
