We are currently seeking Overnight Lead Installers at our Newark, DE location.

Role:

Overnight Lead Installers are accountable for the overall execution and delivery of a finished assembly of temporary store construction enclosures and graphics packages. This role is responsible for installation of modular construction barricades panels, non-electrical retail signs, and hanging store fixtures or graphics with precision and care, ensuring that Boston Retail Solutions customers receive a high level of quality, service, and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes intermediate carpentry skills and perform skilled labor tasks using tools such as a tape measure, circular saw, speed square and various other tools of the trade 
  • Interprets and understands provided build plans to create final assembly of modular construction enclosures 
  • Responsible for training and development of junior staff 
  • Applies critical thinking skills and judgment to complete jobs in field with little to no supervision
  • Operates heavy equipment such as boom lift, scissor lifts and fork trucks 
  • Submits proper paperwork, photos and documentation daily upon job completion 
  • Drives to and from job sites in BRS fleet vehicles while maintaining a clean and organized truck 
  • Responsible for maintaining a good working order for all BRS provided tools, equipment and apparel 
  • Follows appropriate safety guidelines and wear personal protection equipment as needed per jobsite requirements 
  • Ensures on-site, off-site behavior is professional while respecting traditional courtesy and good manners

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-year experience as a framer or construction worker within a commercial setting 
  • Understands construction process and techniques including using a level, square, laser and tape measure 
  • Ability to comprehend and convert site surveys, dimensions and project renderings into a finished product
  • Physical ability to climb ladders, work at elevations above 16 feet and carry up to 80 pounds while being safety conscious 
  • Carry a valid driver's license and a clean driving record 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including occasional overnight travel with minimal supervision and on own initiative 
  • Work regular overtime to meet job needs
  • Undergo and pass a physical examination at the expense of BRS and carry me certification at all time while driving BRS vehicles 
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred
  • This position requires you to operate a vehicle with a gross vehicle weight of up to 26,000 lbs. and is subject to U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. As such, you will be required to successfully complete and maintain a valid DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical). Employment in this role is contingent upon meeting these physical and medical standards; failure to obtain and maintain a valid DOT certification will result in immediate separation from employment with Boston Retail Solutions.
