Job Summary
We are seeking a Bilingual Spanish Front Desk Representative for a contract/temporary opportunity in Los Angeles, CA. This role supports a community-focused nonprofit environment that helps local residents access important information related to food, housing, health care plans, daily resources, and community services.
The Bilingual Spanish Front Desk Representative will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing a welcoming, professional, and helpful experience in both English and Spanish. This is a great opportunity for someone who is friendly, compassionate, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced front desk setting.
This work environment is mission-driven, team-oriented, and focused on making a positive impact in the community. Candidates who enjoy helping people, supporting daily office operations, and working with supportive leadership in a service-focused setting may find this role especially rewarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet visitors, answer incoming calls, and provide professional front desk support in English and Spanish.
- Assist community members with general information regarding food, housing, health care plans, and local resources.
- Direct visitors and callers to the appropriate staff members, departments, or available services.
- Maintain a welcoming reception area and support daily administrative office operations.
- Use a MacBook and Microsoft Office tools to complete basic administrative tasks, data entry, and documentation.
- Remain calm, patient, and professional while assisting individuals in a busy service-oriented environment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Job type: Contract/temporary.
- Location: Los Angeles, CA.
