Job Title: Warehouse WorkerJob DescriptionThe primary role of a warehouse worker is to efficiently receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from the stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. The position involves maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring items are stored in an orderly manner.
Responsibilities- Receive and count stock items, recording data manually or using a computer.
- Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
- Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
- Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
- Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
- Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
- Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.

- Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective security operations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2-4 years of experience in similar positions.
- Experience with lifting, scanning, picking, packing, auditing, shipping, receiving, RF scanner, inventory, and warehouse operations.
- Ability to work on feet for up to 10-hour shifts.
- Ability to match labels accurately.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment is a clean and climate-controlled Walgreens MicroFulfillment Center facility. Employees are allowed to listen to music or podcasts with one earbud during shifts. The job entails light duty tasks, primarily packing and shipping individual patient prescriptions, making it less physically demanding than larger warehouse roles. Shift schedules include a first shift from 5 AM to 3 PM, four days a week, and a second shift from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM, five days a week.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
