Job description

Bourland, Wall & Wenzel, P.C. is seeking a professional, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our Fort Worth team as a Temporary Legal Assistant for an approximately 10-week position.

This position provides administrative support to our attorneys and is an important part of keeping their practices organized and running smoothly. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, comfortable working independently, and able to manage competing priorities with accuracy and good judgment.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to attorneys
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments
  • Answer and route telephone calls and communicate professionally with clients and colleagues
  • Open, sort, distribute, and prepare outgoing mail and correspondence
  • Maintain organized electronic and paper files and assist with filing
  • Enter, organize, and maintain information in firm systems
  • Assist with scanning, copying, printing, and other office tasks
  • Track assignments, deadlines, and follow-up items as directed
  • Provide general administrative support and assist with projects as needed

Successful Candidates Will Have

  • Prior experience working in a professional office environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent telephone and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust priorities as needed
