Looking for a hands-on career in mining or field operations?

Express Employment Professionals is hiring for a Leach Pad Operator for a respected mining industry client in the Cripple Creek area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working both indoors and outdoors, learning new skills, and being part of a team that plays a critical role in exploration and drilling operations.

📍 Location: Cripple Creek, CO

💰 Pay: $30.00 per hour

🕒 Schedule: 4/10 schedule Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday 6am-4:30pm

What You'll Be Doing
  • Irrigation & Piping: Construct, dismantle, and repair panels. Lay, fuse, and maintain High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipes, and deploy drip emitter tubing.
  • Solution Management: Adjust solution flows, monitor system pressures, and change filters to ensure optimal chemical application.
  • Monitoring & Compliance: Routinely inspect the pad and surrounding areas to ensure there are no leaks or environmental hazards. Report irregularities and maintain strict compliance with MSHA and environmental guidelines.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate small-to-heavy machinery (such as skid-loaders, extendable boom forklifts, dozers, and mini excavators) to support field operations.
  • Site Maintenance: Perform manual labor and housekeeping tasks, including cleaning filter presses and repairing piping hardware.

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to report regularly at the Cripple Creek location
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to learn new skills and work as part of a team
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles
