A French teacher is responsible for developing students' linguistic proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Beyond language mechanics, they curate an engaging learning environment that incorporates cultural awareness, literature, and history from the Francophone world.
Instruction & Curriculum Lesson Planning:
Develop and implement daily lesson plans that align with educational standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
Skill Building:
Teach French grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. Cultural Immersion: Incorporate Francophone culture, traditions, art, and current events into the curriculum.
Blended Learning:
Use multimedia, language games, and technology to create interactive learning environment.
Assessment & Student Support Testing & Evaluation:
Develop and grade formative and summative assessments, including written and oral tests, to track progress.
Personalized Help:
Provide individualized support and extra help sessions for students who need additional assistance.
Feedback:
Offer constructive feedback to help students overcome language barriers and build conversational confidence.
Classroom & Community Management Classroom Management: Maintain a structured, inclusive, and positive learning environment. Parent Communication:
Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
Extracurriculars:
Organize and lead cultural events, language exchange programs, or a French club.
