Job Summary

The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining die-cutting and laminating equipment to produce products that meet quality standards and customer specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Essential Functions

  • Operate industrial machinery including laminators and die cutters according to specifications
  • Set up equipment and ensure proper alignment, calibration, and safety prior to operation
  • Monitor production to ensure parts meet quality standards and tolerances
  • Perform routine inspections, adjustments, and basic maintenance on equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Adapt to changing production needs and support team objectives
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and productive work environment

Responsibilities

  • Verify job order documentation and materials prior to production
  • Interpret engineering drawings, job orders, and production instructions
  • Load and unload raw materials and finished products
