Job description

TITLE:   Flexographic Printing and Converting 

 

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Set up, troubleshoot, and maintaining flexographic printing, bag converting, sheeting, and laminating machinery to produce paper packaging.

All new machinery. Clean work environment. Air conditioning.

Second shift hours – Monday – Friday. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Requires experience in setting up and troubleshooting converting/printing machinery.
  • Experience required with large rolls of paper or plastic.
  • Knowledge and use of various hand tools assigned including tape measure, screwdriver, wrenches, etc.
  • Good verbal and written skills required.
  • Basic Math required.
  • Maintain a safe working environment on production lines.
  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
  • Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set up and troubleshoot flexographic printing and converting machinery.
  • Monitor and keep machine supplied with paper, glue, and ink.
  • Inspect product to ensure materials, size, print, quantities.
  • Keep the work area clean.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:

  • Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the use of PPE.
  • Fast-paced production floor with exposure to machinery noise.

TRAINING:

  • Must complete ongoing training as required.

 

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. on a daily basis
