Laboratory Operator

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Operator to support biologics manufacturing operations in a regulated work environment. This role is responsible for performing, documenting, and supporting manufacturing activities while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, accountability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve production and quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manufacturing and laboratory operations in accordance with established procedures and work instructions.
  • Complete and maintain accurate production records and documentation.
  • Support quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure product quality and compliance.
  • Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and processes.
  • Identify, report, and assist in resolving quality deviations, safety concerns, and operational issues.
  • Participate in investigations related to production, quality, equipment, or safety events.
  • Contribute to maintaining cleanroom and sterile manufacturing environments.
  • Assist in identifying workplace hazards and improving safe working conditions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production schedules and departmental goals.
  • Follow all safety, GMP, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food production, or other regulated environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control principles.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Ability to recognize and solve routine issues within the work area.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Experience

  • GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Cleanroom operations.
  • Sterilization or aseptic processing.
  • Biologics, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology manufacturing.

Pay and Benefits
