Job description

Allied / Tech - Cath Lab Tech

Shift: M-F 5x8 Days. 0700-1530 + after hours on call rotation 10-12 days a month (this could include evenings of days already worked).

Years of Experience REQ: 2 years of experience is required.

Epic experience is preferred.

First-Timers Accepted: No first time travelers. Minimum of one successful travel assignment is required with no performance or attendance issues.

Weekend REQ: 10-12 days a month.

Is on-call REQ? Yes, average of 12 days of call per month.

Will the clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes.

Locals Accepted: Yes.

Pending State License Accepted: No.

RTO Restrictions: No Holiday RTO; max 5 total days in 13 week assignment. No additional RTO after the time of submittal or while working on contract.

Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week.

Top 10 Procedures/Scans: LHC, RHC, Peripheral angiograms, device placements, Pericardiocentesis, Temp pm, Balloon/Impella Insertion, CardioMEMS, Carotids.

Most Common Equipment: Philips Azurion x ray system, MAC LAB hemodynamics, ACIST injector.

Attendance Policy: OSUMC has a zero-fault attendance policy which means that any missed scheduled shift regardless of the reason counts as unexcused. (2) missed shifts will result in a warning, and (3) missed shifts may result in a cancellation. This applies to a rolling calendar year. Please ensure all candidates are aware of this policy prior to submission. Compliance call out: Travelers must commit to going into the lab within 48-72 hours of signing!

Submittal Details: References - 1 reference within the past year from a Manager or Unit Supervisor (no charge RNs) in relevant specialty REQUIRED; most recent assignment preferred. RTO: 5 days max in a 13-week assignment. No holidays. No additional RTO after the time of submittal or while working on contract. NO RTO on or around (day before, day of, and day after) Major Holidays. No blocked scheduling or special scheduling requests. Will accept locals at the same rate as travelers. No background or license hits are allowed. Valid Oklahoma or Compact License required at the time of submission.
