In this role, you’ll collaborate with branch offices, administrators, attorneys, and other internal departments to facilitate accurate and timely document preparation and processing. You’ll also assist with franchise agreement matters, maintain confidential records, communicate critical updates, and help ensure the Legal Team’s daily operations run efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certification
  • Three to five years of administrative experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, clerical, and administrative skills
  • Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate timely updates
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and standard office technology
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments


Responsibilities

Legal and Administrative Support

  • Provide general administrative and day-to-day support to the Legal Team
  • Assist attorneys with document preparation, recordkeeping, correspondence, and other departmental needs
  • Communicate critical updates, pending matters, and essential information to attorneys in a timely manner
  • Address and resolve routine legal matters under the general direction of Corporate Counsel


Franchise Document Processing

  • Coordinate with branch offices and administrators to facilitate accurate and compliant document preparation and processing
  • Support documentation related to:
  • New center openings
  • Center takeovers
  • Changes of entity
  • Center name changes
  • Relocations
  • Instructor name changes
  • English as a Foreign Language packets
  • Terminations
  • Receive cross-training to process franchise agreement packages for execution
  • Maintain records related to in-school franchising agreements


Cross-Departmental Communication

  • Serve as a primary liaison with FSC and field departments regarding instructor status matters connected to franchise agreements
  • Respond promptly to requests and inquiries from branch offices, Human Resources, Finance, Corporate Planning, KiDS Support, and other internal departments
  • Support matters related to instructor status and IDP participation
  • Build productive working relationships with internal stakeholders to move documentation and requests forward efficiently


Confidentiality and Record Management

  • Maintain accurate and organized legal and franchise-related records
  • Protect the confidentiality of all information discussed, reviewed, or shared in connection with the role
  • Ensure documents and communications are handled accurately and appropriately
  • Perform additional responsibilities and projects as assigned
