Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a Media Buyer for a direct hire opportunity in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This role is ideal for a media investment professional with strong national linear TV and digital video buying experience, excellent negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of today's evolving video marketplace.
As a Senior Media Investment Lead, you will manage media negotiations, oversee campaign stewardship, and help guide media strategy across traditional and digital channels. This opportunity offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where strong vendor relationships, sound judgment, and proactive problem-solving are valued.
This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys working closely with clients, media partners, and internal teams while mentoring junior media professionals. Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate national linear TV and digital video media buys to support client objectives and campaign performance.
- Oversee all aspects of campaign stewardship, including media execution, vendor coordination, delivery tracking, and issue resolution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor marketplace trends, shifting media dynamics, and evolving client needs to make informed buying recommendations.
- Mentor, train, and support Media Associates while helping develop team capabilities and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and deliver accurate, effective media plans.

- Salary range: $80,000 to $90,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Negotiate national linear TV and digital video media buys.
- Manage campaign stewardship from execution through delivery.
- Lead vendor communication, client interaction, and internal coordination.
- Mentor and train Media Associates while supporting team performance.
- 3-5 years of relevant media buying, media investment, or agency buying experience.
- Strong understanding of the evolving video landscape, including linear TV and digital video.
- Knowledge of digital media channels, including mobile, video, programmatic, and related platforms.
- Proven negotiation skills with strong critical thinking and sound decision-making abilities.
- Established relationships with media vendors.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and manage team members in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong proficiency with Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and industry-standard media tools.
- Excellent organizational skills, time management abilities, and attention to detail.
- Polished interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and senior-level stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing marketplace conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Barter experience is a plus but not required.
- Experience working in an agency environment.
- Experience supporting national media campaigns across both traditional and digital video channels.
- Ability to interact confidently with key top-level management and client decision-makers.
