Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for:
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
1 year of step-down ICU/IMC/PCU experience. This is a stepdown ICU unit.
1 year of telemetry/cardiac monitoring experience
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
Experience with trach patients requiring continuous BiPap/long term vent support
Experience with titratable drips including: dopamine, dobutamine, nitro, cardene, ketamine, heparin, Cardizem, amiodarone
Experience with CIWA assessments and Alcohol/Drug withdrawal treatment
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
Emergent cardioversion
Any procedures requiring moderate sedation will be performed in a procedural area
Best personality Fit:
Positive and team focused. Adaptable to quickly changing acuity and enjoy a busy, fast paced unit and high throughput to accommodate rapid responses, ED admissions, and ICU transfers.

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
Physical assessments, intake, and output must be completed every 4 hours
Hourly safety rounds
Every two hour positioning and ADLs as indicated
Bedside handoff is mandatory
Weekends and On call(if any)
Every other weekend (alternatively 4 weekend shifts [Saturday/Sunday] per month
Delayed start is utilized rather than on call shifts if census is low
