  • Position: Locum Tenens CRNA / Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
  • Location: Coldwater, Michigan (49036) — Michigan locum tenens CRNA opportunity
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: 7,530 – 7,930
  • Schedule: 8-hour day shifts (7am–3pm), Monday–Friday
  • Shifts per week: 5
  • Duration: 52 weeks (long-term locum tenens)
  • Dates: July 3, Sept 7 (holiday), Nov 25-27
  • Call Schedule: Every 4th night (3pm–7am) with 30-minute response required
  • Providers on Team: 4 CRNAs (collaborative practice model)
  • Operating Rooms: 3 ORs
  • EMR: EPIC (experience with EPIC preferred)
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience providing general anesthesia across a broad case mix
  • Active, unrestricted CRNA license (Michigan preferred or eligible for MI authorization/temporary privileges)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in epidurals, spinals, and regional nerve blocks (case logs required)
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (AHA issued)
  • Clear background and malpractice history; typical credentialing timeframe 60–90 days (temporary coverage available)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced OR setting with general, ortho, urology, ophthalmology, vascular, ENT, dental, and podiatry cases
Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe, evidence-based anesthesia care and perioperative management for general anesthesia cases and regional techniques
  • Perform spinals, epidurals, and peripheral nerve blocks as clinically indicated
  • Participate in the on-call rotation and respond within 30 minutes when on call
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiology colleagues, and OR staff in a supportive practice model
  • Maintain accurate case logs, anesthesia records, and timely documentation in EPIC EMR
  • Adhere to institutional policies, patient safety protocols, and quality improvement initiatives
