What you'll need:

  • Current Washington state RN license in good standing
  • 3 years of Emergency Department experience preferred
  • Charge Nurse experience preferred
  • Current BLS required
  • Current ACLS required
  • Advanced current certification required: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), Trauma Nurse Care Course (TNCC)
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred

Schedule: 0.9 FTE; Evening Shift; 12-hour shift (1500-0330)

Jefferson Healthcare is seeking an experienced per diem Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering nursing care tailored to individual patient needs based on the nursing process, which encompasses assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will promote continuity of care to ensure that patient needs and expected outcomes are met. As a member of the team, the Registered Nurse will be expected to delegate and supervise the support nursing staff involved in the provision of care. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering nursing care tailored to individual patient needs based on the nursing process, which encompasses assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will promote continuity of care to ensure that patient needs and expected outcomes are met.
