Developer Analyst

The Developer Analyst is responsible for the configuration and/or development of our Engagement Services web and app platforms. The developer ensures the systems are in compliance with the specific client requirements. The developer verifies configuration through creation and execution of unit test plans. The developer delivers high quality web and mobile app sites following standard operating procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand a client’s functional requirements
  • Work with the Lead Systems Analysts and the Project Manager to clarify requirements.
  • Work with Setup Configuration Specialist on app and data configuration
  • Configure and/or develop web/app platform
  • Configure data for use from DB2/Prostgres or web services
  • Design and update unit test plans based on functional requirements
  • Execute unit test plans and record results.
  • Create and maintain configuration documentation
  • Support client acceptance testing
  • Provide configuration status reports and risk assessments
  • Follow and consult to style guidelines: Banners, graphics, and layout review
  • Provide support for the deployment (or migration) of new system updates into the production environment.
  • Support production environment (defects and trends) and execute resolution
  • Ability to perform strong debugging and problem solving.
  • Overall quality, on-time delivery, and accuracy of web site and related services

Required Skills:

Preferred Experience:

Cloud CMS, Angular, Java, Liferay, Postman, Kibana

Working knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle

Working knowledge of Web APIs and Scripting frameworks

Working knowledge of Agile development methodology and JIRA Software or equivalent defect submission tool

Education:

Bachelor’s degree (with preferred concentrations in Computer Science or, MIS) or equivalent years of industry experience.
