Description

iD Tech is hiring temporary a Warehouse Associate to be part of a collaborative and fun team at our 62,000 square foot facility in Reno, NV. iD Tech is a national leader in youth STEM education, and our Logistics team ensures that staff and students have access to the hardware and resources needed to teach and learn. You will process incoming and outgoing shipments, prepare computers and hardware for deployment, perform inspections of equipment, and report/verify inventory levels. This is a temporary position.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Conduct accurate inventories of various supplies
  • Prepare supplies for shipment - this includes testing electronic equipment, packaging office supplies, cleaning used items for reuse, and conducting frontline QA
  • Accurately pack shipments using provided packing instructions
  • Use Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and Google Sheets to create labels, spreadsheets, and forms related to shipping/receiving and inventory processes
  • Periodically communicate with other departments via email and phone
  • Assist with general facilities maintenance
Qualifications
  • Ability to repeatedly lift heavy items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to accurately test and perform basic troubleshooting of computers and electronic equipment
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Basic understanding of Google Suite Applications such as Google Sheets and Google Docs (preferred)
  • An eye for detail
  • Aptitude to work independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Driver's license and clean driving record (preferred)
Compensation

The pay rate for this position is $18 per hour. This position is eligible for 401(k) once eligibility requirements are met and other benefits as required by state or local law.
