Job Summary:
Atoms is building the machines that power the next era of progress. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work on a data intelligence infrastructure team, focusing on software and tools that enable data-driven decisions for the company.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Work on a data intelligence infrastructure team, which is focused on gaining intelligence from the mass amount of data that has been collected over the years serving restaurants across the world.
โ€ข Build and maintain software and tools that enable data scientists, ML engineers, analysts and engineers to extract insights, sell market intelligence to merchants and make data driven decisions for the company
โ€ข Help product teams to build real-time and batch processing pipelines to achieve business requirements
โ€ข Research latest technologies in the open source communities and bring back insights to apply within the team
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 3+ years of experience as a software engineer, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, taking initiative to drive results.
โ€ข Proficiency in Java or GoLang programming languages. Weโ€™re looking for engineers who are comfortable with either language and have experience building high-performance systems.
โ€ข Familiarity with Azure and GCP cloud environments, and deployment tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
โ€ข Enthusiastic about learning new codebases, and making changes in large complex systems safely and efficiently.
Preferred:
โ€ข Background in infrastructure or platform development is preferred.
