You will lead a small team of AI engineers, provide technical guidance, and help turn cutting‑edge AI/LLM technologies into practical solutions that accelerate processes, extract insights, and support clinical innovation.

We’re looking for a hands‑on, proactive technologist who is passionate about AI, curious about new technologies, and capable of mentoring junior engineers in a fast‑paced startup environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a small team of AI engineers and guide their development on project tasks.
  • Design, develop, and prototype AI/LLM solutions for real-world clinical workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and cross‑functional teams to implement innovative AI solutions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support skill development and productivity.
  • Stay up to date with cutting‑edge AI/ML research and apply relevant advances to projects.
Qualifications :
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years leading AI/ML initiatives, products, or teams.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and at least one additional language such as Java, C++.
  • Hands‑on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, model evaluation, and related AI technologies.
  • Experience building, deploying, and maintaining AI systems in production environments.
  • Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, drive architectural decisions, and mentor engineers.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross‑functionally with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced startup environment with ambiguity and evolving priorities.
Nice‑to‑have:
  • Experience in clinical workflows, clinical trials, or life sciences applications.
