As a Solutions Architect, you'll play a valuable role within the FireMon Customer Experience team, helping to assess business opportunities and support the development of strategies to address technical challenges. In this role, you'll work closely with security architects, infrastructure specialists, and engineering teams within customer organizations, gaining hands-on experience designing effective, results-driven solutions. You will support both Pre-Sale (Buyer's Journey) and Post-Sale (Customer Journey) phases, building your technical expertise and product knowledge along the way. With guidance from senior team members, you'll help empower customers to make informed decisions and achieve success in their projects.
 
Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the process improvement and implementation methodology focused on prescriptively and proactively getting a customer to value as quickly as possible.
  • Provide thought leadership related to API integration as the right approach for the management and delivery of Automation and Workflow for our customers.
  • Account for the decisions you propose and be an expert in the implementation of proposed solutions.
  • Conduct business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits analyses to align technology solutions with business initiatives.
  • Partner with users to define and analyze problems and align the most appropriate technical, application or configuration solutions.
  • Help develop, document, and manage the requirements gathering process and provide detailed design and business processes to support the requirements throughout the project life cycle up to and through change control.
  • Review system test plans and system test applications to ensure successful test cycles.
  • Partner with the end-user to select or create appropriate scenarios to test implemented solutions to determine whether the solution meets shared requirements.
  • Serve as a functional and technical resource for the project team and establish Level of Effort (LOE) and duration estimates for projects.
  • Build architecture best practices.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Two or more years of business analysis and consulting experience - to or within large corporations, relating to enterprise software implementation and change management.
  • Two or more years of experience designing and implementing client-facing solutions.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Experience with the technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions, including SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, and FTPS
  • Familiarity with multiple languages, including C++, Java, Python Perl, or another programming language
  • Experience implementing solutions using API Management Platforms
  • Experience in technology architecture and implementation on the ServiceNow platform
  • Communicate solution recommendations and influence decision-makers
  • Startup mentality with responsibilities for partner management
  • Demonstrate experience across all phases of the SDLC and Agile software development practices
