As a leader in delivering top-tier rental solutions across Construction, Industrial, Oil & Gas and Event sectors, we're seeking a Outside Sales Representative with experience in the general heavy equipment AND temporary heating and air and/or rental industry PLUS the vision, tenacity, and drive to turn opportunity into impact in the Columbia Basin / Inland Northwest / Eastern Oregon Territory.

What you will do:
In this individual contributor role covering the large Columbia Basin / Inland Northwest / Eastern Oregon Territory for our Hermiston location, you'll be at the forefront of our strategic growth, cultivating meaningful partnerships, expanding our customer base, and shaping the future of our general heavy equipment and temporary heating & air and rentals business.
You'll work alongside passionate professionals in sales, marketing, and product development to bring bold ideas to life - all while keeping the customer at the center of everything we do.
  • Identify & Engage: Scout and pursue new project opportunities through research, outreach, conferences, and digital platforms.
  • Build Partnerships: Forge lasting relationships with potential and existing clients to unlock long-term value.
  • Drive Strategy: Design and execute business development initiatives aligned with our growth goals.
  • Lead Negotiations: Craft compelling pricing proposals and contracts, and support executive teams during deal negotiations.
  • Analyze & Optimize: Collaborate with finance and operations teams to monitor project performance and continuously improve outcomes.
  • Support Marketing: Coordinate promotional efforts to amplify product visibility and customer engagement.
  • Represent REIC: Attend trade shows and industry events to keep a pulse on market trends and build brand presence.
  • Enable Sales: Partner with internal teams to deliver product demos, customer training, and smooth onboarding experiences.

What You Bring
  • 5-10 yrs + Proven success in sales or business development roles, with a focus on strategic growth and customer engagement in the equipment rental or related industries (industrial manufacturing, oil & gas, construction, etc.).
  • Ability to travel in a company vehicle around the Columbia Basin / Inland Northwest / Eastern Oregon areas.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities with experience in forecasting, pricing, and financial modeling.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools.
  • Willingness to travel statewide for client meetings, and nationally for corp. meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
