Manufacturing AssemblerLocation: Sedalia, MO
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Assembler to support fabrication, assembly, and production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.This is a hands-on position requiring strong mechanical aptitude, previous manufacturing experience, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with tools, fabrication equipment, and mechanical components while maintaining a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, fit, and assemble components according to work orders and specifications.
  • Operate saws, drills, routers, hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, system layouts, and production work orders.
  • Operate semi-automatic and automatic production equipment as needed.
  • Perform equipment setups, adjustments, and basic preventative maintenance.
  • Inspect completed components and assemblies to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare finished products for shipment.
  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Maintain accurate production and material records.
  • Report material shortages, discrepancies, or quality concerns.
  • Assist with inventory control and material management as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Work closely with production and engineering teams to meet daily and weekly production goals.
  • Assist with equipment startup and basic troubleshooting as needed.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of previous manufacturing experience required.
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
  • Ability to accurately measure and assemble components to specifications.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
