Job description

Since 1966, Paul Davis has been an industry leader in the areas of property damage mitigation, reconstruction, and remodeling. With more than 330 offices in our franchise network, the company serves residential, institutional, and commercial customers and clients across the United States and Canada.
Full Time, Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT DUTIES:
· Work directly with Director of Reconstruction and Reconstruction Production Manager to develop project scope, reconstruction estimate and budgets for individual projects.
· Work directly with customers to effectively manage the necessary repairs to their home and/or property.
· Work with insurance company adjusters, independent adjusters, public adjusters and other industry professionals on agreements on both scope and cost of projects.
· Proactively communicate on project statuses, subcontractor performance and supplements.
· Will assist with the management and allocation of in-house staffing resources, as well as subcontractor resources, needed to complete the job in timely fashion.
· Oversee job progress and proactively communicate with management on any potential problems or issues that may arise on projects.
· Customer service interaction skills are a must. The candidate will be able to effectively build and develop relationships and a positive brand awareness through all interactions.
· Candidate will be required to effectively operate and navigate through the Restoration Management System. All notes, documents and interactions will be tracked through the RMS.
· Incumbents in this position typically spend about a third of their day in the office. The balance of the day is spent in the field meeting with customers, estimating projects and managing ongoing projects.
JOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS
· Prior experience in the restoration or related industry is preferred.
· A thorough knowledge of the insurance restoration process is preferred.
· The ideal candidate will have strong Xactimate estimating experience.
· Must possess computer and internet skills.
· Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced work environment.
· Strong interpersonal and organizational skills required.
· Must have the ability to work with sub-contractors in order to obtain bids for jobs and submit needed work orders for necessary repairs.
