Job description

Job Title: Entry-Level Software EngineerJob Description

This entry-level Software Engineer role focuses on developing and testing infotainment and navigation software for the automotive industry in the Dublin, Ohio area. You will contribute to Android-based applications used in in-vehicle infotainment systems, working with a small, growing team in a collaborative and positive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Android applications for automotive infotainment and navigation systems.

  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of infotainment software features.

  • Write, modify, and review source code in C++ and other relevant languages for software applications.

  • Participate in application development activities, including coding, debugging, and troubleshooting issues.

  • Support testing efforts for infotainment software to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.

  • Use Git or similar tools to manage source code versions and collaborate with team members.

  • Work closely with a small engineering team to deliver high-quality software for a major automotive OEM.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders in an automotive environment to understand requirements and refine software solutions.

  • Occasionally work on-site at an automotive facility to support integration and testing activities.

Essential Skills

  • 1–2 years of experience developing Android applications.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.45 - $26.45/hr.
