Position Summary

We are seeking a professional, organized, and dependable Temporary Administrative Assistant to provide administrative, membership, marketing, and event support during a maternity leave. This position will help ensure the continued efficiency of daily operations by managing routine office responsibilities, assisting members, supporting events, and maintaining accurate records.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-service focused, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and able to communicate professionally with members, staff, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Member Services

  • Process membership payments and verify payment information for accuracy.
  • Update member contact information, addresses, and account records.
  • Assist with membership data entry and database maintenance.
  • Organize and file membership-related paperwork and documentation.
  • Respond to routine member questions and provide professional customer service.

Office Administration

  • Answer incoming phone calls and check voicemail messages.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and other calendar activities.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating organizational calendars.
  • Take and distribute meeting minutes as needed.
  • Prepare mailings and other correspondence.
  • Scan, organize, file, and maintain office documents and records.
  • Provide general administrative support to staff and leadership as needed.

Event Support

  • Process event registrations and maintain accurate registration lists.
  • Prepare and print attendee lists, name badges, signage, and other event materials.
