Job description

School Psychologist

We are hiring for a great client in Romeroville, IL. This is an on-site contract opportunity for a School Psychologist who will provide psychological assessment, counseling, and consultation services to support students’ academic and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and present comprehensive evaluation reports
  • Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings
  • Provide individual and group counseling services as appropriate
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Assist in the development of behavioral intervention plans
  • Support crisis intervention and prevention initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with special education laws and district policies
Qualifications
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations in a school setting
  • Strong report writing and data interpretation skills
  • Knowledge of IDEA and special education compliance
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
