First Onsite is a national emergency response restoration and general contractor specializing in the return of compromised property to their pre-loss condition. We work with our clients to restore their properties. Our team restores commercial, multifamily, hospitality, educational properties from water damages, flood, fire, smoke and natural disasters.We currently are planning to hire Temporary Project Supervisors to support recent major catastrophic events. Hiring needs will be determined based on business need.A Project Supervisor is a position of understanding, organizing and directing on-site work activities for a team of restoration laborers. These activities shall lead to the workmanlike completion of an assigned task within scope, budget, and schedule. The Project Supervisor reports to a Project Manager.This job will be performed in difficult conditions around a variable schedule. This role is very demanding physically and mentally. There will be extended periods away from home. This is a critical role for humanitarian relief efforts.DUTIES:Report to an assigned Project ManagerResponsible for most day-to-day field operationsWork with the team to achieve scheduled workAll project communication must be directed through the Project ManagerManage a crew of approximately 10 or more laborersAssist with the daily planning and activity at the project siteEnsures the quality of work performed is up to industry, Interstate and owner/client standardsMaintain a daily log of conditions, activities, communications and notable eventsIdentify and assist in completing documentation as necessaryVerify and approve work progress and completionBe attentive to material needs, types, demands, and availability to perform workRespond to and address changes on the projectCoordinate with Project Manager on any change of conditionsAttend a daily job-site safety meetingMaintain attention to the safety and protection of property and workers on the site at all timesReport any/all job site accidents to Health & Safety Officer and Project ManagerComplete administrative duties as requiredSKILLS/REQUIREMENTS: Communicate well; verbally and writtenCoordinate daily labor and material needs in a manner to produce the best efficiencyWork in a professional mannerAbility to adjust schedule/work activities in the event of unavoidable delays to make up lost timeLeadership abilities motivate and direct team to perform work at a high level of output and qualityQuality control/assuranceTime management and self-directionCapable of lifting 50 lbs or moreCOMPENSATION:Competitive pay rate with overtimePhone reimbursementHousingFirst Onsite provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
