Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Packaging Operator for a 12-month contract opportunity in Cleveland, OH. This Packaging Operator role is ideal for a dependable production or warehouse professional who enjoys hands-on work, structured processes, and contributing to daily operational success.
In this role, you will package products and materials according to production schedules, quality standards, SOPs, GMP requirements, and workplace safety guidelines. You will work in a clean, organized production environment where accuracy, teamwork, and consistency are valued. This is a great opportunity to join a stable operation with supportive leadership, clear expectations, and a team-focused culture that values quality, productivity, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Package a wide variety of products and materials by hand according to production schedules, work orders, and quality standards.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and safety requirements throughout the packaging process.
- Perform visual quality inspections to confirm products are labeled, counted, sorted, and packaged correctly.
- Read and interpret written instructions, diagrams, schedules, and work orders to complete assigned tasks accurately.
- Maintain production and packaging records using Microsoft Office applications and company systems.
- Support warehouse and production operations by organizing materials, maintaining clean work areas, and assisting with material handling.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour.
- Employment Type: 12-month contract with possible extension.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
- Location: Mentor, OH 44060
