Army Human Resource Specialist (MOS 42A) - Enlistment Required.

Location: Multiple Locations.
Salary: $40,000 - $80,000 per year.
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time.
Overview:
Join the U.S. Army as a Human Resource Specialist (MOS 42A) and play a vital role in supporting personnel management and administrative functions. No previous experience is needed - you’ll receive full training to develop valuable skills and build a meaningful career while serving your country.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide human resources support to soldiers of all ranks and classifications.
  • Manage personnel records, administrative paperwork, and reporting.
  • Assist in readiness, health, and welfare programs to support soldier well-being.
  • Follow detailed orders and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien (I-551).
  • Age between 17-34 years.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Achieve a minimum ASVAB score: General Technical (GT) ≥ 100 and Clerical (CL) ≥ 90.
  • Able to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance.
  • Pass criminal background check with no open violations or felony convictions.
  • Pass drug screening and physical fitness requirements.
Training:
  • 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training (BCT).
  • 9 weeks of Advanced Individual Training (AIT) combining hands-on and classroom instruction.
  • Opportunities for advanced training depending on unit assignment.
