Job description

  • This is a temporary position - Ends June 1, 2026

JOB SUMMARY:


Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and general appearance of the guest rooms and hotel corridors.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Stock housekeeping cart with supplies.

  • Maintain shelf organization in storerooms/ linen closets.

  • Remove trash and dirty linen from guest rooms.

  • Clean rooms to company standards.

  • Inform front desk/ management of maintenance problems or needs.

  • Return dishes to Food and Beverage.

  • Assist other housekeepers with their rooms and/or stay overs.

  • Properly log lost and found items.


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.


Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent.


Language Skills:  Ability to communicate with guests and co-workers.


Mathematical Skills:  Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
