Job description

Joseph J. Albanese, Inc. is seeking an experienced Laborer as a Scanner for concrete projects in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Laborers should have experience in:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Scanning and core drilling walls, slab, etc.
  • Preferably with Hilti palm, and/or GSSI scanners.
  • Union or Non-Union Experience.
  • Must have a clean driving record.

OTHER:

  • Nonunion experience is accepted and willing to sponsor the right candidate into the union.
  • Ability to work overtime and Saturday's on an as needed basis.
  • Ability to work on construction projects in both standard and high-risk areas. Construction site work environment - will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs and ladders and negotiate work areas under construction. Specific vision abilities required by this job includes close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Performing this job requires use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, sit, talk and hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
