Coborn's, Inc. is looking for a Temporary Accounts Payable Processor to join our Accounting team at our Support Center in St. Cloud, Minnesota. In this role, you'll play an important part in ensuring invoices are processed accurately and vendors are paid on time, all while supporting the day-to-day financial operations of our employee-owned company.
You'll work alongside an experienced and collaborative team that is eager to share their knowledge, helping you build your accounting skills while gaining behind-the-scenes insight into one of the Midwest's leading grocery retailers. If you're detail-oriented, enjoy problem-solving, and take pride in producing accurate work, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Hours: 8:00 am-4:00 pm
Temp Assignment Length: 2-3 months
What You'll Do:
  • Process and post invoices accurately and efficiently using our accounting systems.
  • Review invoices to ensure appropriate account coding and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Reconcile invoice batches by balancing system entries to reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Process weekly Accounts Payable check runs as part of the team's rotating schedule.
  • Prepare weekly reclassification journal entries.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to resolve invoice questions and discrepancies.
  • Help support an efficient, accurate, and customer-focused Accounts Payable process.

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
