Job description

Closing Lead – Full Time | Creative Dining Services | 11am-7:30pm Monday through Friday
McPherson, KS

Join the hospitality team at Central Christian College of Kansas! We’re looking for a dependable, energetic Closing Lead to support our Front-of-House (FOH) team in a fast-paced, rewarding campus dining environment.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead FOH operations during afternoon/evening shifts
  • Ensure menus are accurate, with precise allergens and icons
  • Monitor food holding temps, restock items, and complete closing checklists
  • Support team members and resolve service issues or conflicts
  • Communicate clearly with supervisors, kitchen staff, and team members about needs, updates, or concerns

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years in food service or customer service (leadership a plus)
  • Knowledge of Top 9 Food Allergens
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft365, Google Apps etc)
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Able to lift 25 lbs and stay on your feet
