Job description

Looking for flexible work and the opportunity to earn extra income? We're building a pool of dependable General Labor associates for on-demand, 1st shift opportunities in the Aurora area.

These assignments are offered as business needs arise and may range from a single day to several days. This is a physically demanding role that involves moving furniture and providing general support for furniture assembly and installation.

Job Duties:

  • Moving school furniture.
  • Move and stage desks, chairs, tables, cabinets, and other classroom furniture throughout the school using safe lifting techniques.
  • Assemble and install classroom, office, and common area furniture according to project specifications.
  • Set up classrooms, offices, and shared spaces based on layout plans.
  • Assist with loading and unloading furniture during relocations or campus moves.
  • Stay active throughout the day with lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering furniture and equipment.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety procedures.
  • Work alongside a supportive team in a fast-paced environment to ensure classrooms and learning spaces are ready for students and staff.

On-Demand 1st Shift Opportunities
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Assignments are offered as they become available.

Pay:

$20.00/hour

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry 50–75 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift
  • Comfortable performing physically demanding work for the entire shift
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work on short notice when opportunities become available
  • Previous general labor, construction, moving, landscaping, or warehouse experience is helpful but not required
