Qualifications

  • State License License must be in hand at time of application.
  • Certifications ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT)
  • Certifications BLS (AHA). Willing to obtain allowed for BLS (AHA).
  • Specialty Experience 1+ years of experience in Nuclear Med Tech in last 3 years.
  • Specialty Experience 1+ years of experience in job's specialty.
  • EMR Cerner
  • Additional Confirmations I have not requested more than two holidays off during my assignment.
  • Additional Confirmations I am aware that blocked scheduling requests are not accommodated by MedStar.
  • Additional Confirmations Experience with GE, Hitachi, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba equipment is required.
  • Additional Confirmations Experience with HIDA Scan, Bone Scan, Lung Scan, Thyroid Studies, 3 Phase, Cancer Survey, DTPA Aerosol, I-123 Uptake Scan, Perfusion, Uptake Scan, Ventilation/Perfusion, and Whole Body procedures is required.
  • Additional Confirmations Ability to start and maintain Peripheral IVs is required.
  • Additional Confirmations Proficiency in Isolation Precautions and PPE is required.
  • Additional Confirmations Experience with Storing, Handling, and Disposal of Radioactive Materials is required.
  • Flu Vaccine (Current Season) Must be for the current flu season.
  • Travel Contract Must travel at least 60.0 miles to receive a travel stipend. Local candidates are eligible, but the pay package may adjust the rate by a few dollars per hour, will not contain a travel stipend, and will be entirely taxable.
  • Requested Time Off Up to 7 days of time off can be requested.
