Job Title: Machine MechanicJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Mechanic to perform mechanical maintenance on sewing machines. The ideal candidate will have the ability to replace parts and disassemble small machines effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Perform regular maintenance, tune-ups, and cleaning of sewing machines to prevent breakdowns.
  • Replace worn or damaged parts such as needles, belts, motors, and presser feet, and calibrate machines for optimal performance.
  • Conduct technical assessments of manufacturing problems with series tools and provide professional corrections for tool-related issues.
  • Schedule necessary equipment repairs and ensure timely implementation.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform diagnostic testing, and implement effective repairs to minimize production line downtime.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis to maintain consistent stitch quality and machine reliability.
  • Coordinate with the supervisor regarding technical and quantitative problems that cannot be resolved with reasonable effort.
  • Adjust machines for different fabrics, stitch types, and garment patterns, including calibrating needle and thread tension and configuring machines for high-speed production.
  • Maintain order and cleanliness in the workplace (workshop) and adhere to occupational safety standards.
