Temporary Full Stack React Developer information

What is a temporary full stack React developer?

Temporary Full Stack React Developers are professionals hired on a short-term basis to build and maintain both the front-end and back-end of web applications using React.js and other relevant technologies. They are skilled in integrating user interfaces with server-side logic, databases, and APIs. These developers are often brought in to complete specific projects, address workload spikes, or fill gaps while a company searches for permanent staff. Their flexibility and expertise allow businesses to accelerate development without long-term commitments.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a temporary full stack React developer?

To thrive as a Temporary Full Stack React Developer, you need strong proficiency in JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, and familiarity with databases like MongoDB or SQL, usually backed by a degree in computer science or equivalent experience. Experience with version control systems (such as Git), RESTful APIs, and deployment tools like Docker or AWS is typically required. Problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and adaptability are essential soft skills for quickly integrating into teams and managing shifting project requirements. These skills ensure the developer can deliver high-quality, scalable solutions efficiently within a limited contract timeframe.

What are some common challenges faced by temporary full stack React developers when joining a new project mid-cycle?

Temporary Full Stack React Developers often encounter the challenge of quickly understanding existing codebases and workflows, especially when joining a project that is already underway. They may need to get up to speed with the team's coding standards, deployment processes, and project-specific tools in a short time frame. Effective communication with both frontend and backend teams is essential to clarify requirements and avoid duplicate work. Proactive collaboration and thorough documentation review can help overcome these hurdles and contribute to project success.

As the leading provider of Cybersecurity-as-a-Service (CSaaS), RADICL is revolutionizing advanced cyberthreat protection for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in the U.S. Defense Industrial Base (DIB) and other regulated industries. No longer should SMBs be satisfied with lack luster solutions delivering lack luster protection. RADICL is ushering in a new era of turn-key and affordable cyberthreat protection via its AI-powered virtual SOC platform that allows human and digital agents to quickly and seamlessly become SMBs’ day-to-day compliance and security operations team.

RADICL’s turn-key CSaaS offering uniquely combines compliance management with AI and expert-driven 24/7 security operations. We guide customers to regulatory and best practice adherence with standards like CMMC and NIST CSF while also delivering 24/7 threat monitoring, deep-spectrum™ threat hunting, incident response, vulnerability management, and security awareness training.

With RADICL, customers can stay mission focused, confident their front, rear, and flank are protected, affordably and without compromise.

If you’re excited about working with industry experts to help SMBs focus on growing their businesses without the constant worry of security and compliance risks, we invite you to join us in our mission to protect American businesses and drive innovation in cybersecurity.

About the role

RADICL is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Apps team. You'll design and build the core product experiences that security operators use daily - from vulnerability management and compliance assessment workflows to security awareness training platforms and task management systems. You'll work across our entire technology stack, from React components and Express APIs to Go microservices and PostgreSQL databases, delivering end-user functionality that helps organizations manage risk, maintain compliance, and strengthen their security posture.

Your work will directly impact how effectively our customers navigate complex security challenges through intuitive interfaces, robust backend systems, and seamless integrations. You'll be a key part of our ongoing evolution toward modern, scalable architecture while maintaining the reliability and security our customers depend on.

If the above excites you, RADICL Defense is seeking high performing, motivated individuals to join our mission. As an early member, you will work closely alongside an experienced founding team and realize the life-changing experience of building a company. You will work with the latest technologies in software, cybersecurity, and cloud and will have a significant impact on the formation of our platform and offering.

About You

You consider yourself to be top tier talent and are eager to help others raise their game. You enjoy working with customers, are an excellent communicator, and able to engage and interact with people of various backgrounds and skill levels. You want your work to have meaning, to be important. You want to be part of creating something great.

As a RADICL Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will:
  • Full-stack ownership — build end-to-end features from React components through Express APIs to Go microservices and PostgreSQL databases
  • Security operator experiences — design and implement vulnerability remediation workflows, compliance assessment interfaces, security training dashboards, and task management systems
  • Modern web architecture — work with React 18, TypeScript, TanStack Query, Zustand, and our internal component library built on Radix and Tailwind
  • Scalable backend systems — develop Go microservices with Echo framework, implement async job processing, and build multi-tenant data architectures
  • Integration complexity — create resilient integrations with security tools, compliance platforms, and third‑party APIs while handling vendor failures gracefully
  • Multi‑tenant platform — build tenant‑isolated systems with sophisticated RBAC, audit trails, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Quality and reliability — write comprehensive test suites (Vitest, Playwright, Go tests), implement monitoring, and ensure production stability
  • Technical leadership — mentor team members, lead architectural decisions, and drive best practices across the stack
Your skillset/experience should include:
  • Full-stack proficiency Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills with React and Node.js; 5+ years of production experience
  • Go experience preferred Opportunity to work with modern, performant microservices and contribute from day one
  • Database expertise PostgreSQL proficiency including complex queries, schema design, migrations, and performance optimization
  • API design Experience with RESTful services, async job processing, and event-driven architectures
  • Frontend modernization Familiarity with React Hook Form, Zod validation, modern state management (TanStack Query, Zustand), and component libraries
  • Multi-tenant systems Understanding of tenant isolation, RBAC patterns, and scalable architecture design
  • Testing practices Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing frameworks
  • Cloud infrastructure AWS experience with ECS, RDS, Lambda, S3; Docker containerization and Infrastructure as Code
  • Security domain awareness Interest in cybersecurity, understanding of vulnerability management, compliance frameworks, and security workflows
  • DevOps mindset Experience with CI/CD, feature flags, monitoring, and production incident response
