Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is hiring a Pattern Maker at our Bloomington facility—and this is a great opportunity to apply your craftsmanship to precision tooling that supports critical aerospace components used around the world.

If you enjoy working with complex geometries, interpreting detailed prints, and building high-quality tooling that directly supports manufacturing success, this role offers both stability and technical challenge in a respected aerospace environment.

Pay Range: $32.00 – $35.00 per hour (DOE)
Bonus: Up to 5% quarterly bonus potential 
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

What You’ll Do?

As a Pattern Maker, you’ll support the creation and refinement of tooling that directly impacts casting quality, efficiency, and repeatability.

In this role, you will:

  • Build and maintain pattern tooling, fixtures, and mold components for foundry operations
  • Integrate gating designs into mold layouts to support casting performance and manufacturability
  • Produce complex core geometries from engineering blueprints
  • Interpret both 2D and 3D technical drawings
  • Establish mold lines and parting geometries using precision handcraft techniques
  • Support bench work including fixture construction, parting setup, box building, and rigging work
  • Participate in tooling improvement initiatives and special projects
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workspace
  • Follow all safety, environmental, DOT, and HAZMAT procedures
  • Expand your skills through certifications and career development opportunities
