Is 25 too late for cyber security?

Temporary forensic cyber security roles typically do not pay $500,000 annually, as such high salaries are usually associated with senior positions, management, or specialized consulting roles with extensive experience and certifications. Most cybersecurity professionals earn lower salaries, but those with advanced skills, certifications like CISSP, and experience in high-demand areas can reach higher income levels over time. A Temporary Forensic Cyber Security professional's salary typically depends on experience, certifications, and the complexity of cases handled. While some senior or specialized roles in cybersecurity can reach or exceed $200,000 annually, entry-level or temporary positions usually pay less. Achieving such a salary often requires advanced skills, certifications like CISSP, and extensive experience in the field.

How to get into forensic cyber security?

To enter forensic cyber security, develop a strong foundation in computer science, networking, and cybersecurity principles. Obtain relevant certifications such as Certified Computer Forensics Examiner (CCFE) or GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA), and gain experience through internships or entry-level security roles that involve incident response and digital investigations.
